man on the street

My assignment yesterday afternoon was about a proposed tax hike for homeowners. This man was nice enough to let us into his home.

grand opening

This was my favorite series from a shoot this morning at a local department store getting ready to open. Of course, every other photo had me in it. . .

Happy VD

Okay, so I didn't shoot this today, but it was amazing nonetheless. Two brothers started a hardware store in 1946. After running it for more than four decades, they shut down in 1992. Since then, one of the brother's had been filling the place with antiques and things he liked to collect; it was amazing. He died last year, and his brother decided to auction off as much of it as he could. I shot the auction company setting up a few days ago. The entire place was like time capsule, filled with old lamps, bells, typewriters and the occasional cultural oddity.

There really is beauty in everything.

do ya like dags?

I do. Man, after shooting a rabies vaccination clinic at a local pet store, I wanted to take one home. They were so cute, but I don't think I nailed it so I'm taking another crack at it tomorrow. Or maybe I just want to pet a lot of stinky dogs.
